The Ford® Super Duty® Chassis Cab F-550® works hard, shift after shift. The chassis cab can be upfitted to meet the demands of your job and features strong performance and a powerful lineup of available engines designed to work seamlessly with chassis components and vehicle calibrations. Available in three models — the XL, XLT and LARIAT® — as well as two engine options and three cab configurations, the Chassis Cab F-550 lets you build the perfect truck for your line of work.
The Super Duty Chassis Cab F-550 is built to help you power through the tough work you face every day. With the ability to be upfitted with a flatbed/stake body, dump box body, ambulance body, utility body, tow body and more, the possibilities are almost endless. And with a max conventional towing capacity of up to 34,500 lbs. and a max payload of 12,770 lbs., nothing stands in your way. The Chassis Cab F-550 has the option for either the 7.3L Gas V8 or 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel engine paired with the TorqShift® 10-speed automatic transmission calibrated for heavy-duty work. The Chassis Cab F-550 is available with either a 4x2 or 4x4 DRW drivetrain and has optional front suspension packages to handle unique job requirements.
