Peterbilt Model 220EV
The Peterbilt Model 220EV is an all-electric, medium-duty truck engineered for clean, efficient operations with lower overall maintenance and zero emissions. Ideal for short-route pickup and delivery, the Model 220EV is available in Class 6 or Class 7 configurations and supports body lengths ranging from 24’ to 30’. It’s powered by a fully integrated, all-electric powertrain equipped with a midship-mounted eMotor and two thermally controlled lithium iron phosphate battery packs — engineered for optimal weight distribution and performance.
A power electronics cradle sits under the cab where an engine would reside, housing the onboard AC charger, battery disconnect controls, vehicle software and air compressor. The single rear axle offers a tight turning radius for added maneuverability, while the expansive windshield and large side windows provide exceptional visibility — perfect for navigating confined city spaces. Inside the cab of the Peterbilt 220EV, an enhanced gauge cluster displays real-time data specific to electric vehicle operation, such as power output, battery charge level, HVAC energy usage and more. Three battery energy storage configurations are available, offering daily estimated ranges from 100 to 200 miles on a single charge.
