The Micro Bird G5 Propane school bus is a greener option with a simplified emissions system and proven performance. With a capacity of up to 30 passengers or five wheelchairs, the Micro Bird G5 Propane offers the superior durability, safety and quality Micro Bird is known for.


The Micro Bird Propane is equipped with a Ford 7.3L V8 engine integrated with an exclusive ROUSH CleanTech Gen5 propane fuel system. The compact, 350-hp engine benefits from all of Ford’s performance and quality characteristics, such as horsepower, torque and towing, while maintaining the outstanding OEM factory warranty. And like all Micro Bird buses, the G5 propane model can be fitted with smooth operating, ADA-compliant wheelchair lifts from suppliers including Braun and Ricon.
