The narrow-body design continues the Collins legacy of offering easy vehicle maneuverability, large view-out windows reduce blind spots and enhance visibility, and the one-piece tubular roof bow provides unparalleled safety.
The Collins Ford E-Transit is powered by a fully electric powertrain featuring a 68KwH usable energy, high voltage, lithium-ion battery pack that offers a range of 100 miles and a peak power rating of 198 kW or 266 horsepower. A single-speed transmission, Hill Start Assist and AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control come standard, and the Ford E-Transit school bus comes with Level 2 13.2 kW AC charging or Level 3 CCS1 80 kW DC fast charging options.
