Do you service all used trucks before selling them?
Every used truck Rush Truck Centers sells goes through a rigorous make-ready process to ensure your truck is ready to work from day one. This includes passing a federal DOT inspection, completing a multi-point used truck inspection at our dealership, verifying ECM and odometer miles for accuracy, installing new Rush Truck Centers mudflaps, and providing a new mattress (sleeper cabs only).
Your local Rush Truck Centers dealership can provide a list of all reconditioning work performed and details on when services were completed before the truck was put up for sale.
Do you offer warranties for used trucks?
Our sales reps can provide information on any existing factory warranties that will be transferred to you upon purchase.
If there is not an existing warranty, we provide aftermarket warranty solutions from Premium 2000 and American Guardian Warranty Services. Used truck warranties can also typically be purchased from the manufacturer. Coverage options vary, but can include engine, transmission and rear axle components depending on the plan you choose.
How much does a used semi truck cost?
The cost of a used truck will vary greatly depending on the model, year, mileage, condition, body type, configuration and any customizations. Our sales representatives can help you find a vehicle that fits your business needs and budget from our current inventory of used commercial vehicles.
What does certified pre-owned mean?
Certified pre-owned trucks have passed a comprehensive, multi-point inspection and extensive pre-certification testing to ensure peak performance the moment the truck leaves the lot. Certified pre-owned qualifications are typically set by the manufacturer and are intended to guarantee roadworthiness, driver reliability and buyer confidence.
