The medium-duty Peterbilt Model 548 is the ultimate in durability, versatility and productivity. Designed to handle heavier vocational jobs, the Model 548 is a rugged workhorse with cab accommodations for up to three passengers.

Its rugged construction includes an all-aluminum, corrosion-resistant cab with newly engineered hood and chassis components for added strength and durability. And PACCAR’s TX-8 automatic transmission delivers a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio, with up to 5% fuel savings compared to other competitive transmissions. The Model 548 comes with the option for a PACCAR PX-7 or PX-9, as well as a Cummins L9N natural gas engine.
